Where Spaces Become Story.
Auraa Spatial Arts was born from a simple belief: spaces are more than structures—they are vessels of emotion, memory, and experience.
We believe that before people remember what a space looked like, they remember how it made them feel. A quiet sense of arrival. A moment of pause. The warmth of gathering. The feeling of being part of something meaningful. These are the experiences we set out to design.
Rooted in the language of production design, art direction, and experiential curation, Auraa approaches every project as a story waiting to unfold through space. Every surface, every object, every transition has a purpose—not simply to be seen, but to shape the way people move, connect, and remember.
For us, a wedding is never just a celebration to decorate. It is a narrative built through atmosphere, where every threshold, every mandap, every texture, and every play of light contributes to a memory shared by everyone present.
An exhibition is never just a display of work. It is an experience carefully composed to invite curiosity, create moments of stillness, and allow every piece to be encountered with intention.
Today, Auraa is extending this philosophy into hospitality—collaborating with hotels and destinations to imagine spaces that welcome with warmth, celebrate local character, and create meaningful experiences through weddings, curated installations, intimate gatherings, and thoughtfully styled public spaces. We see hospitality not simply as accommodation, but as the art of making people feel they belong.
How should this space make someone feel?
The answer shapes every decision we make—from the first impression at an entrance to the final memory a guest carries home.
At Auraa Spatial Arts, we don't simply style spaces.
We shape experiences that linger long after the moment has passed.
Every detail tells a story.
“We build worlds people step into and never forget.”
A Note From the Founder
I've always found myself noticing the things people rarely talk about.
Not the flowers, but the silence before someone enters a room.
Not the architecture, but the way light changes a space throughout the day.
Not the event itself, but what people carry with them after it's over.
Long before I understood what spatial design meant, I was paying attention to how places made me feel.
Over the years, my work took me through theatre, production design, art direction, exhibitions, events, and immersive experiences. Looking back, they never felt like separate careers. Each one was teaching me the same lesson from a different perspective.
People rarely remember every object in a space.
They remember how that space made them feel.
Production design taught me that nothing exists without purpose. Every object, every texture, every source of light contributes to a story. Theatre taught me how movement changes a space. Exhibitions taught me that the pause between two artworks can be just as meaningful as the artwork itself. Events showed me that memories are often created by the atmosphere surrounding a moment, not the moment alone.
Without realising it, I wasn't moving from one industry to another.
I was learning one language.
The language of space.
That understanding became Auraa Spatial Arts.
I didn't create Auraa to fit into a category.
We're not only designing weddings.
We're not only styling hotels.
We're not only creating exhibitions or building worlds for film.
Those are simply different expressions of the same practice.
For me, every project begins with the same responsibility.
To understand what a place needs to hold.
Sometimes it needs to hold celebration.
Sometimes grief.
Sometimes curiosity.
Sometimes stillness.
Sometimes belonging.
Every space asks for something different, and I don't believe two stories should ever be designed the same way.
That is why I spend more time listening than sketching.
Listening to people.
Listening to the history of a place.
Listening to what already exists before deciding what should be added.
Only then do materials, light, texture, colour, movement, and detail begin to find their place.
I don't believe beauty alone creates memorable spaces.
I've walked into beautifully designed rooms that left me feeling nothing.
I've also stood in simple spaces that have stayed with me for years.
The difference has never been luxury.
It's intention.
At Auraa, every decision is made with one question in mind.
How should this space make someone feel?
That question guides everything we do.
It shapes the way people arrive.
The way they move.
The way they gather.
The way they pause.
And ultimately, the way they remember.
Whether we're creating a wedding within a heritage property, curating an exhibition, imagining a hospitality experience, designing a world for the screen, or shaping a private residence, the goal remains the same.
To create spaces that feel lived in, meaningful, and deeply human.
Because the spaces we remember are rarely the most extravagant.
They're the ones that quietly become part of our story.
Thank you for taking the time to discover Auraa.
I hope, one day, we have the opportunity to create a space that becomes part of yours.
